About Dr. Cara E. Koch

Coaching Parents of Children between Infancy and 8 Years Old

Dr. Koch has a doctorate in Spiritual Nurture from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH and a Master’s degree in Child Care Administration from Wheelock College in Boston, MA. Her undergraduate degree is in Child Development and Family Relationships. She has completed the Byron Katie School for The Work in Los Angeles and uses communication tools developed by Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D. of the Center for Nonviolent Communication and Marc Weiner of the Empathy Labyrinth Center in New York.

She has worked with parents and children for over 30 years as a manager and director of child care centers in four states, as a child development consultant, and as director/owner of a family child care management service in Colorado Springs. She has explored the spiritual aspects of young children’s development in her doctoral research project on the innate spirituality of children.
